Insect-eating Mammals

These mammals are small bodied with long, narrow snouts and five-toed limbs. They have rudimentary eyes; short, dense fur; and occassionally have spines. Insectivores live on the ground following a burrowing or semi-aquatic existence. Most are active only at night, and some a re carnivorous.
